The Model A utilizes lead shot and oil damping only in the platter. The Model B features 100% more Teflon in the platter, larger damping cavities with silicone and oil and a fully damped base. The Model D further refines the Model B to employ full silicone damping to the arm and motor pods, as well as a distinctive black Teflon platter.
